I'm looking to migrate specific Dynamics 365 Customer Insight segments and Journeys from a development to a UAT environment. I believe this a data migration rather than solution migration.
For segments, I use the target audience based on contacts. I do not want to migrate the 'Contacts' entity data itself. I've utilized the Configuration Migration Tool but need clarity on selecting entities and ensuring the associated filters and configurations are also transferred to the UAT and subsequently to the production environment.
Similarly, I need to migrate customer journey configurations and other related entities. I also know that none of the records that need to migrated are in a 'live' state.
I'm seeking the most effective method to migrate only chosen segments and Journeys. Is there a way to filter these? Must all configurations be manually recreated in the other environments? I am eager to learn the optimal process for this task.
